How it works

Capture. Line up. Trend. Pair.

VisageAir™ is an advanced on-device facial analysis platform for wellness and longevity. AI and machine learning read your own face over time, on the phone, measured against you, and paired with your nights. Here is the whole thing, with nothing hidden and nothing oversold.

01 Capture

A selfie. That is the whole scan.

Open the app. Hold the phone at arm's length. Line your face up in the soft frame. The frame will not fire until your face sits at the same distance and angle as last time, in even light, with a neutral expression, so every photo in your series is taken the same way. One tap. The app takes a short burst and keeps the sharpest frame. About ten seconds, once a week, and you have a real series.

No poses, no props, no close-ups, no filters, no tongue-out routine. If you already take selfies, you already know how to do this. If a photo is unusable, VisageAir asks for another one instead of guessing.

Context like a weight note or a therapy note can be typed on a separate, optional step. It is never inferred from the photo and never presented as the headline.

02 Line up

Set against your own self.

The scan is easy on purpose. The work starts after you tap. An advanced on-device facial analysis engine built by Somnus maps the structure of your face from that one frontal frame, on the phone, and holds every later photo to the same map. So the comparison is you versus you, not you versus a stranger.

Nothing is painted back onto your face, and nothing is scored against anyone else. We do not publish a formula or a threshold, and we do not claim medical accuracy. This is a wellness view of your own trend, held to that.

03 Trend

Your own line.

The result is your trend over weeks: a plain read that says, in words, when a change on your own line is worth noticing. It is not a diagnosis, not a medical index, and not a probability that anything is wrong.

04 Pair

Beside your nights.

Your daytime face trend sits next to the nights Nightsong already hears on the device. Day and night become one honest picture of you. The face never claims to measure the night. It keeps it company.

Under the hood

A simple photo. Serious software behind it.

Facial recognition is software that finds a face, places hundreds of landmark points on it, and builds a map of its structure. Most people know it as the thing that answers "who is this?" VisageAir uses the same technology to answer a different question: "how has this face changed?" Your phone already places the landmarks, reads head angle, distance, and light, and on newer phones measures depth in real millimeters. The AI, built by Somnus, makes that map precise and repeatable, aligns each new photo onto your earlier ones, and reads the soft tissue the way a tailor reads a fit. Every read is against your own baseline, over time. Here is what that lets VisageAir do. The full explainer.

Line up weeks apart

Gates the capture first, then corrects for the small differences in distance, tilt, and light that remain, so week eight sits on top of week one and the comparison is real, not a trick of the camera.

Read the soft tissue

Tracks change through the cheeks, along the jawline, under the chin, and around the eyes. The places a weight or GLP journey shows first.

Follow the jaw and neck

Holds the contour of the jaw and neck over time. The change people see in the mirror before the scale catches up.

Know a bad photo

Recognizes when a frame is unusable, from poor light, a wrong angle, or a filter, and asks for another rather than guessing.

Keep to your own line

Every read is against your earlier frames. Never a population average, never someone else's face.

Stay on your phone

The map is built and compared on the device. No one else's face is involved, and nothing is painted onto yours.

Recognition here means recognizing your own face over time. It does not mean identifying you to anyone else, and it is not a medical read of any kind.

What a person actually sees

A calm read on your own line.

Steady

Your face is holding right around your recent weeks. VisageAir says so plainly, and leaves it there.

Moving

Soft tissue is shifting on your own line, the kind of change a weight or wellness journey brings. You see the direction, measured against you.

Worth a look

A change stands out enough to notice. VisageAir names it in plain words and never turns it into a medical claim.

A short note on honesty

Why a trend, not a score.

A score looks like knowledge. A number under a face photo reads as precise, and precision reads as trust. But a number like that promises something a wellness view cannot deliver. It implies a calibrated verdict for you, today, from a picture. Nobody has that. What a series of photos can honestly do is show your own change over time.

A trend is useful in a way a score is not. It is your own line, so there is nothing to argue with and no stranger to be measured against. It answers the question people actually have on a journey: is my face moving, and in which direction? A rising or falling line answers that cleanly. Two decimals do not answer it better. They answer it worse, because you start arguing with the decimals instead of watching your own change.

There is a second reason. A score invites the wrong comparison. It sits in your mind next to a medical result as if the two were the same kind of thing. They are not. Your nights, heard on the device by Nightsong, are their own signal. A face over time is a wellness view beside them. Keeping the face in a trend keeps the two in their proper places.

So VisageAir shows a line and a plain sentence about your own change. When there is anything worth saying with more weight, we will say it as wellness context, with its limits, and never as a score on your screen. That restraint is the product.

Plainly

What VisageAir is not.

  • Not a medical device, and not a diagnosis of any condition.
  • Not a measure of your night. Your nights are Nightsong's job, on the device.
  • Not a treatment tool. It does not score any therapy, drug, or device.
  • Not a face-painting demo. Nothing is ever mapped onto the photo.
  • Not a leaderboard. It is your own line, measured against you.

VisageAir provides general wellness and longevity information only. It is not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
